Melbourne Victory have announced today that Kevin Muscat will finish his spell as Melbourne Victory head coach at the conclusion of the 2018/19 season.
After 14 years at Melbourne Victory, Muscat leaves as a club legend, where he served as player, captain, assistant coach and head coach.
Muscat has represented Melbourne Victory as a player across 138 games in all competitions. This included two Premierships and two Championships during the 2006/07 and 2008/09 Hyundai A-League campaigns. During this time, he also won three Victory medals.
At the conclusion of his playing career, Muscat stepped into an assistant coaching role before being promoted to head coach in October 2013. During his managerial career, he went onto manage the team to 214 games across all competitions, picking up a Premiership in 2014/15, two Championships in 2014/15 and 2017/18, as well as Melbourne Victory’s first FFA Cup title in 2015.
