A-League: Perth end Victory’s unbeaten run

Sunday evening’s game against Perth Glory proved to be a disappointing one for Melbourne Victory, in which the unbeaten run came to an end.

Victory winger Leroy George came the closest to scoring however his volley was saved by Liam Reddy and pushed onto the crossbar.

The hosts were put 1-0 up through a first half header from Glory striker Andy Keogh, taking glory into half time with a lead.

The second half saw some great chances from both teams and a fantastic goal line clearance by Rhys Williams to deny Keogh doubling their advantage.

Despite late pressure, Victory were unable to find a goal.
